Tim’s Story of Hope

I grew up in a very strict home where my value was based on my performance. I was not raised in church and I really knew nothing about Jesus and his saving grace.

I started drinking at a very young age and began making some very bad decisions and it didn’t take long before I started getting in trouble with the law.

 

I ended up in jail facing a possible 25-30 year sentence in prison. While serving my time in the county jail, I cried out to a God that I didn’t really know. He came into my heart. I was privileged to see many men come to Christ while I was in jail and prison.

 

Several years later, after drifting from Christ, I became addicted to pain pills and almost lost my wife, children and my home. While living at the men’s shelter, I met Danny Hampton. God used Danny to minister to me and to help me face the pain that was buried deep within my soul. I have been a part of Freedom Life Ministries from the beginning. Over the past 4 years, my life has changed drastically.

 

I am a very happily married man and I have a relationship with my wife and kids that is better now than I could have ever imagined. I am excited to see what God has planned for our future and I hope to be a part of God’s plan with FLM.
